Olumide Adeyemo is another scholar at Jumpstart Academy Africa. He scored the third highest in U.T.M.E. He recounts how Jumpstart Academy has helped him in his academic pursuit especially as regards preparation for 2015 U.T.M.E. He scored 242 out of obtainable 400 though he aimed at attaining a minimum score of 250. According to him, scoring 242 was made possible because Jumpstart helped him believe so much in himself, contributing help in his academics, finances and spiritual wellbeing. When told to state specifically, how Jumpstart Academy helped, he had the following to say:
The first way is that the academy provided us scholars with textbooks and past questions to equip us adequately for the examination. This helped me very much as I had no textbooks of my own. All I had included my school and lesson notes which were not up to 30percent of the expected syllabus.
The second way is that the academy helped secure an accommodation by my examination centre in Abeokuta, Ogun state, a place where I had no relative. It was the academy that sponsored my accommodation and feeding.
Olumide was full of thanksgiving, appreciating Jumpstart Academy as a whole for believing in him, especially Miss Omotola Akinsola, Miss Dunsin Akinsola and Mr. John for their support during and even after their examinations.
He desires to become a world class economist who is awarded a Nobel Laurel in Economics.
