‘Back to School Week’ is a global campaign running from February 1st to 8th to galvanize people around the world to think about how they can support their former schools. A key element of the #backtoschool campaign is the question “What advice would you give to your 16 year old self”?
Joining the #backtoschool campaign, Okawa Shaznay, Nollywood actress from Cameroon had the following remarks:

The “Back to School” campaign will see a mass movement of people turning their social media profiles to their old school photos and posting their advice to their 16-year-old selves. It will also see mobilization of alumni to support current students in schools in Pakistan, Spain, the UK, Kenya, Sierra Leone, Liberia, India, Cameroon, Nigeria and beyond.
People around the world are invited to sign www.myalumnipledge.org and make a commitment to their former schools. They will be supported by a new series of guides for alumni volunteers and a piece of global research into how to build alumni communities. All will be made freely available from Future First Global.
