#FBF JumpStart Academy Africa at the Forbes 30 Under 30 Summit

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Terence Munda, External Relations Officer at JumpStart Academy Africa, just completed an In-Residence Workshop run by Centre for Entrepreneurial Leadership at the African Leadership Academy.
Terence is among a diverse cohort of educators selected from around the world and will join a growing network of educators from Africa and around the world who are committed to re-thinking educational environments that foster 21st century skills.
We are pleased to announce that Civian Kiki Massa, a Jumpstart Academy Africa inaugural alumnus, is currently undertaking a 4 months’ internship with Gifted Mom and Epicentre MSF, Cameroon.
During her time at the Academy, she was one of 50 young people who joined the Inaugural Class Yale Young African Scholars Program 2014.
Civian just completed her first-year as an inaugural student at the African Leadership University (ALU) Mauritius where she is studying towards a BSc. in Electrical Engineering.
“Jumpstart Academy Africa has changed my life, my family and community at large.
My family struggled to cover the costs of my education; the Academy provided me with a quality education, opened to a world of opportunities and guided me in all aspects of my life. I am currently pursuing a BSc in Electrical Engineering at the African Leadership University in Mauritius. I hope to to innovate around some of the most pressing problems facing my country and continent.
I firmly believe in the Academy’s s vision of ensuring that young people have quality education with a focus on 21st Century Skills. As an alumnus, I feel deeply connected to the Academy and continue to be a part of the JumpStart Academy Africa network.”
